A young bride, during a brief stay at Stresa, fell in love with an enchanting place with lawns and mature trees in the idyllic setting of the Golfo Borromeo and its nearby islands, lsola Madre, Isola Bella and Isola Pescatori. As a token of his love her husband, a leading Italian textile industrialist, built an elegant dwelling that would become a meeting place for distinguished personalities.
Today, thanks to a major restoration completed in 2012, the Villa is once more an elegant residence, surrounded by a park filled with magnificent specimens of beautiful trees: a pristine setting for any occasion, from wedding ceremonies to gala events, complete with elaborate menus presented by star chefs.
